As a historical interpreter I am employed to interpret the history of a specific site, in a specific time, often as a specific historical character. I believe this should be done in an accessible, dynamic, interesting and entertaining way.

A well-chosen character can bring the history of your project alive through storytelling, guided tours, timetabled presentations or meeting and greeting. I can provide and develop such a character using project specific scripts or educational learning objectives. Live interpretation can compliment an exhibition or an event.

Being a member of the freelance teams for Past Pleasures and Griffin Historical I have appeared at many wonderful historic places and moved through many different centuries. Feel free to stroll through my pictures on my gallery page.

As a partner in Time Will Tell, a new company looking at history through drama, I have helped develop plays for English Heritage, which over the last 5 years we have performed at their Festival of History (the largest historical event in Europe).

I am a member of both Equity and Imtal, have personal liability insurance and have been CRB checked.
